SCMS Supply List

5th Grade

All Subjects

• Pencils (may have mechanical pencils)
• Additional lead if using mechanical pencils
• Cap erasers or rectangle erasers
• Zipper pouch (one that fits in a binder)
• Earbuds/Headphones– ESSENTIAL (Dollar Tree kind are perfect)

English

• 1 single subject spiral notebook
• 1 package of looseleaf paper
• 1 white 1.5-inch binder 
• Highlighters

Math

• Package of loose-leaf paper
• 1 1.5 in binder to keep math notes and study guides in
• 2 packs of dividers 
• Basic calculator 
• Dry erase markers

Science 

• 1 package of loose-leaf paper
• 2 packs Coloring pencils / crayons (will need to replace throughout the year)
• 12 glue sticks
• Scissors

Social Studies

• 2 single subject notebooks
• Loose leaf paper
• Folder for papers
• Coloring pencils
• 2-3 Black gel pens

Science Lab Fee: $10

Includes specimen, dissection tools and tray

** To pre-prepare your zipper pouch for class, place scissors, 4 pencils with erasers, coloring pencils/crayons, and 4 sticks of glue in the zipper pouch. This pouch needs to remain in your backpack for every class.
