Once again, Smith County Middle School has received a grant from TN 21st Century Community Learning Center for an after-school enrichment program. Students in 5th through 8th grades can attend Hoot Club in the mornings, afternoons, or both. During Hoot Club, students will receive homework assistance and get breakfast from the school cafeteria. During the afternoon session, students will receive a nutritious snack, engage in physical activity, receive homework assistance and/or tutoring, participate in STEAM activities, career exploration, and gain new information from a variety of guest speakers.
Hoot Club began on August 18, 2025
- Morning Hoot Club: Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM - 7:45 AM
- Afternoon Hoot Club: Monday through Thursday, 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
